Biased facts[edit]

What about all of the other thousand iraqi soldiers killed and wounded. Why does this article talk only about the death of american and italian militants? Don't you think it's important to give the two or more sides to facts, or at least not give any?

Ethnicities[edit]

Where does the information concerning that the area is "almost exclusively " inhabited by Shia Arabs come from? It's nonsens and should at least have a source!

The Lynch vehicles were not ambushed. See Jessica_Lynch Jon Krakauer's book on Pat Tillman talks in detail about the battle in Nasiriyah. The vehicles went all the way through the city, realized they had made a mistake, turned around, and came though a second time. I dont think that qualifies as an ambush. Lynch's vehicle ran into the back of the vehicle in front when the vehicle in front tried to go around a blockade.

Population[edit]

As habitual in the english wikipedia, the population you gave is the districte population, NOT the city population. Unluckely the mistake was translated to many wikipedias. Please correct it. --88.16.141.255 (talk) 11:38, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Foundation[edit]

Date of fundation is quoted as 1840. But the real date is 1872. I corrected it.--88.16.141.255 (talk) 11:59, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

Is there really no picture available that shows something more representative of this city than a water treatment plant?! --Tim Landscheidt (talk) 03:01, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vandal or what else?[edit]

Is the last editorial effort by Hendi67 a vandalic action or just an in good faith error? Carlotm (talk) 19:00, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism. --Al Ameer (talk) 17:11, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
