Welcome[edit]

Hello Alex, welcome to Wikipedia.

To answer your question about ToothyWiki, there's no hard and fast rule about what does and doesn't belong on Wikipedia. However, looking at the ToothyWiki Recent Changes, I suspect that most Wikipedians would feel that a wiki with only a couple of dozen changes a day is probably not popular enough for inclusion, unless there is some reason why it's particularly noteworthy (e.g. it's won an award, been in the news, etc.)

That's only my opinion - you could always ask your question on the village pump - you'll find a lot of people there with a better grasp of our relevant policies than me.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! -- ALargeElk | Talk 16:25, 15 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Edits to Mecha[edit]

I should probably thank you for your work on the article. The text is more smooth now, and the plural problem was solved in far less time than I had predicted. Adding a grammar section was a nice idea. -- Kizor 00:47, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for your help on Bishojo game. I just wanted to tell you that I've decided to retire from editing Wikipedia: I had a good time but I need to cut the Wikipediholism and do real work from now on. So I won't be around anymore to edit the articles in that field with an iron fist :), and I'll trust you and others to keep tabs on the articles while I'm gone. See you! --Shibboleth 17:35, 4 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Your comment on animanga game[edit]

Just letting you know I put up a response. --24.114.252.183 01:58, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)

User Page Corrections[edit]

Thanks for the corrections on my page, and the link too.

I should not that some people would consider that to be rude and would report you(someone who made corrections on a voting page was blocked before). So thanks again, but just be careful because some people don't like that sort of thing.Voice of All(MTG) 17:39, September 2, 2005 (UTC)

Your Door[edit]

Would you mind posting the Welcome/Farewell pictures on Imageshack.us or the like? The links on Talk:Ambigram have died, and i'd really like to see this -- febtalk 00:17, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Otome game link[edit]

Hi, just wanted to say thanks for adding that link to the Ren'Ai Archive - I'd heard of English, non-commercial GxB games but hadn't been able to find any myself. Lijakaca 13:53, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fujisaki Shiori Icon.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Fujisaki Shiori Icon.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Season of the Sakura box cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. « ₣ullMetal ₣alcon » 19:50, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:DC_Da_Capo_box.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:DC_Da_Capo_box.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 18:07, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, you've put a {{contradiction}} in that article, but you mentioned nowhere, what exactly. It's not a great article, but i don't understand, what part you mean. Maybe you could leave some comment on the talk there. thx, --Xario (talk) 13:19, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Brave Soul screenshot 1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Brave Soul screenshot 1.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Hi![edit]

Hello, fellow Christian and Wikipedia! I am so, so happy and honored for this chance for us to talk. If you need anything, or if you simply want to chat, I am right here for you, pal! Also remember, to spread the joy! Wikipedia may not be the most cheerful place to be, but YOU can help make it more cheerful! Have a fantastic day, and God bless! ^_^

Please, accept this well-earned reward for your efforts here on Wikipedia, friend! May you continue to aid others and devote your fine skill to editing articles here! God bless you! Celestialwarden11 (talk) 21:15, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Brave Soul has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I cannot find significant coverage for this game. I've also tried searching for sources under the Japanese title and I can't find anything that looks reliable, and Japanese Wikipedia doesn't have an article on this game.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fences&Windows 21:37, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
