Spelling of Ratcliff(e)[edit]

At the very least, we should make the spelling of the headword consistent throughout the article. I'm happy to do it for this article, the one on The Highway and the Ratcliff Highway murders but I'd like to canvass opinion on which spelling to use.

Ratcliff or Ratcliffe? Google is divided on the issue. Cast your vote and I'll do the edits in a week or two.

See my note at The Highway. Cheers Kbthompson (talk) 14:46, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Based on a Google search of "site:towerhamlets.gov.uk ratcliffe" (97 results) and "site:towerhamlets.gov.uk ratcliff" (29 results) I guess the nearest thing we have to an official modern spelling is Ratcliffe. I have edited the articles to make the spelling consistent with this.
