Untitled[edit]

In the game "The Clone Wars," when the screen is zooming in to the Kamino level, some islands are visible. Would this serve as sufficient evidence to negate the claim that it is covered by 100% water? Last Pantagruelist

NOTE: That isn't in the Clone Wars, but Battlefront 1. And no, unfortunately that isn't sufficient evidence; Battlefront regularly breaks other Star Wars continuity. The CIS is completly messed up and the Clones arn't much better.

Kamino is a special place, is the future of the earth. Is a hot place, fill of water with many clones production. We must look this better.

I don't think it has any relation to Earth; it is in a "galaxy far far away"!

I have merged the articles of Kamino and Kaminoans. I also wonder if the comment about Boba returning and escaping is correct. Whoever posted that, I would like to know your source. Cryoboy.

What happened to Kamino after the Clone Wars?--John V Ed Telerionus 01:43, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The Clone Rebellion. See Battlefront 2. I suggest a merger of that section of the article and this article.

name origins?[edit]

I think the name "Kamino" is derived from amino acids.

--While cute and an interesting guess, the Wiki cannot state guesses as facts, and without citations, or it misses the point of the Wiki. First thing I thought of upon hearing the name, was the Chevrolet vehicle called an El Camino, which wasn't odd to me since George has a connection to vintage cars, the same affinity that gave us the speederbikes and podraces, and American Graffiti. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.209.171.85 (talk) 08:36, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

The infobox is messed up! (sorry, i did it). I dont know how to fix it! Could someone make it look right while still keeping the picture in there?

Kaminoan Cloning technology[edit]

User:cc353gohan -I'll admit, that I am greatful that Wikipedia, has donw a few articles, on Kamino, but not enough to satisfy the knowledge and the desire for me to know, on how, the Kaminoans in Episode 2, 3, and expanded universe scenes, actually cloned the Jango Fett clones. I need more information, on the Fett clones, and on the Kaminoans, especially on the cloning technology, in which I'm fascinated by the creation of clones, that the Kaminoans created. Please, lean me a little more knowledge on the Kaminoan cloning technology ways, and how the Fett clones, managed to survive over a 40 to 50 year history between the Republic, the Empire, and the New Republic.

quotes[edit]

What is the source for the quotes in this article? Michael Slone (talk) 23:55, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And why are they presented in such a manner? Andre (talk) 21:46, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And are they really necessary? I think they just add clutter. Darry2385 03:14, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Source the quotes or axe them. They mess up the continuity anyway - none of the other planets get little quotes for every paragraph. MrJammie 23:16, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
