The end of the Mothers?[edit]

"This Zappa record was the last to feature one of the most highly-regarded versions of The Mothers of Invention..." It was also the last (non-archival) record Zappa released to feature the name Mothers or Mothers of Invention. He never used the name again on any new show or recording. It is therefore the final MOI record, if that has any meaning beyond the fact that it marks the point at which Zappa stopped calling whatever band he had assembled the MOI. There may be contractual obligation-type reasons why he carried on using the name for so long.

Inca Roads sample[edit]

Because of the complexity of Inca Roads I think it should have a sound clip on both the "One Size Fits All" article and the "Inca Roads" article, but I do not have audacity so I cannot make it myself... --Mrmoustache14 (talk) 08:18, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Scheduled Warner Bros release of One Size[edit]

Rumors about a scheduled release on Warner Bros now fully resolved. This 1975 interview with Zappa confirms that WB was at one point scheduled to release the One Size album. This is of great interest. It adds earlier evidence about the conflicts between WB and FZ. The disagreements about promotion and money led up to the end of their working relationship and the problems with releasing the Läther album in 1977.
