Perkins joke[edit]

This appears to be an in-joke of some type. The page is orphaned, and none the people and organizations mentioned on the page appear to be insignificant:

Maxx Bartko and Brett Schnieder of Excuse the Expression, Greg

Bartko gets six google hits; Excuse the Expression, Greg, gets zero. -- Dominus 18:24, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete: Vanity page for a "type of joke" invented in... in... Yes, 2004! Wow. It's called a shaggy dog story, Mr. Perkins. Geogre 23:46, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. An unknown joke by a an equally unknown comedy troupe. Inky 01:31, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete unless good evidence for somewhat widespread use is presented. 14 Google hits for "perkins joke" (exact phrase), none relevant. In Google Groups, search limited to rec.humor.funny, I get 5 hits on the single work "perkins," non relevant. (rec.humor.funny is not an enormous collection; had it been present it would have verified the existence of the joke format, but its absence isn't terribly significant).
