Treatment?[edit]

In the infobox, one of the given treatments is "Supportive care", which links to a section on the Therapy page. The first sentence of said section is: "A therapy that does not treat or improve the underlying condition, but instead increases the patient's comfort." Therefore, I don't think it should be labeled as "treatment". You can't therapy Leukemia away. Bataaf van Oranje (Prinsgezinde) (talk) 15:46, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Supportive care, also known as supportive treatment, is a treatment. Not all treatments directly treat or improve the underlying condition but they treat the entire person to help them feel better and enjoy the time they have left more. Supportive care isn't talk therapy. It's things like using oxygen when you are short of breath or taking antibiotics when you have an infection. Those don't kill leukemia cells, but they are still serious medical treatments. WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:34, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
