Can someone make a table with links to the school wiki pages and their external pages? there is:

The John Fisher School is situated in Purley, London not Wallington —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.10.13.164 (talk) 07:11, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stanley Park High School is also not situated in Wallington, but in Carshalton. Harryj2198 (talk) 07:05, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Transport[edit]

Can we consider pruning the transport section a bit? The tram section in particular seems irrelevant - Wallington does not have a tram service, and hasn't had for a long time! And directions to the nearest tram stop don't feel like encyclopaedic content. The same comments apply, perhaps even more so, to the underground. Wallington, LondonWallington, Greater London – Wallington is still considered by all residents to be in Surrey, but since this doesn't seem a feasible address for it any more, can we at least have it listed as Greater London, as it is NOT in inner London. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jayneswikiwiki (talkcontribs) 16:44, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am pretty sure that not every single person who lives in Wallington calls it Surrey. Also, you seem to misunderstand the difference between Outer London and Greater London. Inner London + Outer London = Greater London. Therefore, Westminster, Waterloo, Brixton, Croydon and Wallington are all in Greater London but Westminster, Waterloo and Brixton are Inner London and Croydon and Wallington are Outer London. Notable People: Mike Brewer?[edit]

According to my dad who grew up there, Mike Brewer (notable for the TV Show Wheeler Dealers) lived and worked in wallington possibly as late as the 90s (my dad said he used to see him), apparently worked at a small car dealer (CMW), this is confirmed by the fact he said he "worked at a small forecourt in south london" in the Mk1 Shogun episode and the intro has a picture of him in a car outside a garage, which me and my dad tracked down, the garage is still there but a different colour now.

I do not see Mike Brewer on the list of notable people and would like to add him, i however need some reliable sources for this as i doubt even the evidence i have isn't enough and my "my dad says so" isn't good enough. OGWFP (talk) 20:29, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
