There is a blue plaque on the wall of the building where I was born in London, England in 1963, though not in my honour! Rather in memory of the famous preacher, known as the 'Prince of Preachers' Charles Haddon Spurgeon who once lived there. I Grew up in Clevedon, a small town in the West of England.

Of the last 24 years I have spent 19 (and counting!) living overseas, since 2006 Hong Kong has been my home.

I have a BA (Hons) in Music Studies Ethnomusicology from London University's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from Kingston University.
