Untitled[edit]

I think that you guys need to update things in this encyclopedia. Since ghost ship, she is going to act on TNT's series The Grid in July 2004. I admire Julianna Marguiles acting skills and she has probably made alot of people admire her. I also think that despite her Role on ER that she should've stayed on the show, because many people still wacth that show.--4.2.188.82 19:32, 27 Jun 2004 (UTC)April Driesse--4.2.188.82 19:32, 27 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Name[edit]

Is Barros part of her name?

alka-seltzer[edit]

Someone added the urban legend about her father writing an alka-seltzer jingle.

Snopes says no:

Although Julianna's father, Paul Margulies, was an advertising executive who helped create the
"Plop-plop, fizz-fizz, oh what a relief it is" campaign for Alka-Seltzer, the jingle was actually
composed by musician Tom Dawes, a former member of The Cyrkle, who toured America with the Beatles in
1966 after scoring a #2 hit with a recording of Paul Simon's "Red Rubber Ball."
But then it's really not just an "urban legend" if he did indeed help create the ad campaign! There's some truth to the story. He just didn't compose the actual jingle.
Alka-Seltzer also says no:
Who composed the "Plop Plop Fizz Fizz" jingle?
Tom Dawes - Twin Star Music. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.143.96.55 (talk) 22:13, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Character 'killed off' in ER Pilot[edit]

changed the wording to reflect logic. The producers couldn't make changes to a show after it had aired due to "audience reaction." There should be some source online for this, I seem to recall that after shooting the pilot, the producers were so taken with her that they then reshot the end to make her character reoccurring and an ongoing love interest for Ross. Trivia[edit]

A bit of trivia info, that probably won't fit in the article. My friend was an extra on ER and she said right in front of the extras "I fucking HATE extras!" It had my friend in tears. Entertainer91 (talk) 05:10, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Chase commercial voice-over[edit]

In 2013, the actress did the voice-over for a Chase 'Blue Sapphire' Credit Card commercial. I know because I know by hearing her voice, I am unable to find a reference to site for the article howeverSuper veritas (talk) 01:33, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have found this site which says she is the voice in the commercial. I am not sure if it can be used as verification, and if I should add this to the article. http://adwhois.com/tag/julianna-margulies-commercial/ Some helpful input would be appreciated. This looks creepy. To give you the short answer: If you were intended to have her real contact info, you would already have itSuper veritas (talk) 13:53, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed infobox picture[edit]

There has been a dispute over the infobox picture. It began when a new user named Noyesarah removed a previously used free image and its caption without explanation. After several reverts by myself and User:Nymf, the user repeatedly stored an image that was already used later in the article ([1], [2], etc.), again with no explanation. Warnings on Sarah's talk page were given afterwards, but they were all ignored. Because of this dispute, I have started a discussion on the article's talk page. The following are the disputed photos:

I would suggest that the previous image be used because 1)It focuses more clearly on Margulies' face and 2)The other photo is already used at the bottom of the article. IPadPerson (talk) 20:20, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Jews[edit]

Why do we have to always be informed as to one's "Jewishness" on Wikipedia? Do we hear about Liza Minelli's "christian" background?
