leavers leap[edit]

there was a story that the cliff to the west was a well known lover's leap where indian madiens (or lads?) upset in their love lives would throw themselves off the cliff to their deaths ref bluffpark.org

mountain top swimming lake[edit]

also on top is a small but pleasant lake for swimming that is a fun family venue... ref alapark.com/cheaha
