Dave was the President of Reading University Students' Union between 2005-7, a recent graduate of Modern History and Politics and a fan of football.

Dave was first elected as President of Reading University Students' Union in February 2005. He stood for re-election in February 2006 and was successful with a four vote margin. Whilst President of Reading Dave has also been the Chair of students' unions' buying consortium NUSSL. In March 2007, Dave was elected as the National Treasurer of the National Union of Students, winning with a five vote margin.

He lives in London where he now works for NUS as National Treasurer.
