If somebody wants (I did it for vulcan) someone can use the link "Pages that link here" and correct the links to go directly to the desired page.

Already did. :) I note that there are a lot of astronomical pages that have since been split into astronomical and mythological pages, and others which probably should be. I might make a project of cleaning all that stuff up sometime, once Wikipedia's got its link database fixed. Bryan Derksen

The list of ships named "USS Triton" is now duplicated here and on USS Triton. I'm vaguely uneasy about this; they may go out of synch with each other in future edits. Perhaps USS Triton should be redirected to here? Bryan 22:55, 4 Apr 2004 (UTC)

I was just thinking it would save people a step, but if you want to revert it, go ahead. The links to the three ships that have live pages presumably won't get broken. I trimmed the ship info, so if you make the redirect, the rest should be put here also. wwoods 01:16, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)

ad Triton (>Enigma) It seems to me that theres a mistake, for 'triton' was the German name for the Code, the Allies called it 'SHARK' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.50.152.76 (talk) 12:21, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Newts[edit]

"Triton" is the word for "newt" in many languages and shows up the scientific names of many subtribes of newts, like Hypselotriton, Laotriton, Pachytriton, Paramesotriton, etc. Should this be added?

Malware[edit]

How about the malware? https://www.technologyreview.com/search/?s=triton

Barely mentioned at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triconex#Triton_malware — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kdammers (talkcontribs)

Barely mentioned barely qualifies for an entry. I've added it. Seems like a likely search term. -- Fyrael (talk) 16:16, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
