Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ben sack

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ben sack was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was delete. Apparently he's not even notable enough to have a capitalised last name, let alone an encyclopedia entry. Shane King 03:38, Oct 25, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Looks bogus. Can't find him in the Harvard directory. --Michael Snow 04:57, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, vanity or hoax, doesn't much matter which. No Google hits for `"ben sack" entrepreneur', twenty for `"ben sack" harvard', most of which seem to refer to someone who plays baseball for MIT. Can't find a single reference to this (purported) Ben Sack, which is odd if he's "taken political circles by storm" and "known for his critical writings" which are "met with academic acclaim". • Delete: Vanity article. I had heard that Harvard students received a little talk about not bragging. Guess Ben didn't listen. Geogre 13:43, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Sack this guy for not being notable enough. --Improv 07:34, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
