Ar15.com[edit]

  • Article about a non-notable website. There's a gun called an AR15. It has a website. The website has a BBS. People on the BBS don't always limit their conversation to the AR15. I'm whelmed. -- Hoary 06:38, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • I want to join up on the AR15 forums because the internets told me to! Delete. [[User:Mo0|Mo0[talk]]] 06:46, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Maybe a good idea to leave a link at AR15, rest of info isn't helpful, delete. [[User:MacGyverMagic|Mgm|(talk)]] 08:02, Dec 3, 2004 (UTC)

  • UnDelete. Largest Gun related website in country. Cited in other articles such as Second Amendment article. Many fire arms companies have presence there(Magpul, Bushmaster etc.). SWAT magazine. Shooting USA TV program both have their own forums there. Membership continues to increase. Over a quarter of a Million accounts. Nearly 170,000 of which are paid subscribers. With average of 3500+ members on at any given time. Its's membership was cited as, having been significant in the election of two NRA board members this past year and in the firing of Jim Zumbo from Outdoor Life. The site has a 13 year history and continues to grow in popularity every year. It does not seem unnotable 5 years down the road for a "hoby" web site that is not for profit. Most media web sites would kill for that kind of following. With brief assessment. Seems to have earned a place. IMHO. --KCPhaid 18:22, 30 Nov 2009 (UTC)
