Drow plural[edit]

I am pretty sure drow is supposed to be its own plural JeffBobFrank 21:16, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Confusion[edit]

In the intro it says, "The transformation is typically a punishment for offending their goddess..."

But in the Ecology, it says, "Only high-level priestesses in good standing with Lolth are able to initiate the transformation of a dark elf into a drider."

So which is it? A benefit or a punishment? —Preceding unsigned

it is punishment... Matrona Malice treat to Dritzz that he will beacome one of them if he continue to fight against sociaty... sory for my rusty english... comment added by 24.110.120.202 (talk) 19:20, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Meaning that the only high-level priestesses can enact this punishment. Though it's completely different in 4th edition...

Ultimately, it depends upon the edition. In editions prior to 4e, it was a punishment. In 4e, it's a reward and they fill an elite role. I haven't looked at the 5e version, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were setting- variable. And for what it's worth, I didn't leave the unsigned comment above. 2602:306:CFCA:B540:AD36:3B9D:26E4:7780 (talk) 02:04, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
