Molise Slav[edit]

More Italianist Racism

I find the use of the term "Molise Slav" to be very offensive and racist. Most of all its an affront to one of the most basic of human rights...the right of self-identification. They are simply what the call themselves, that being Molise Croats and nothing else. If you are going to insist on using offensive labels like this, then why don't you apply it to the rest of Italy. I look forward to reading about Afro-Arabic Sicilians or Germano-Slovenian Veneto-Frulians etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.238.39.88 (talk) 00:27, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This was a reaction to Kwamikagami's move from February 2013; it's been partially reverted by an anonymous in April, and fully reverted now. Both of you, please cite sources and use WP:RM in the future. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 16:02, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
JFTR recent Croatian scientific works continue to use the term Molise Croats, e.g. Petar Šimunović's 2012 article in the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts onomastics journal. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 16:06, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
