Discontinued?[edit]

I suspect this award is no longer around as the foundation website is inactive and SoftQuad (the apparent sponsor) was devoured by Corel. --LeeHunter 18:38, 12 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Correcting years[edit]

I changed the unknown year for when Vint Cerf received the award to 1995, since this year is mentioned in his Professional Curriculum Vitae, which can be found at his personal homepage (http://mci.com/cerfsup/). For more information take a look at my comment in the Vint Cerf talk page. --Brucevdk 18:17, 16 July 2005

I changed the englebart year as I was there at the time he got it.--Gorgonzilla 19:49, 14 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I was there..[edit]

I have edited the entire article and corrected the dates. I was present when Yuri presented the award to Doug Engelbart, and I presented the remainder of the awards at the following WWW conferences. I was co-chair of the WWW Conference in 199 when the award was given to RMS. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.82.9.54 (talkcontribs) 15:29, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
