  • This article is about a non-notable Austrian Wiki website. Delete because Wikipedia is not a web directory. jni 16:15, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. I'm one of the editors of this entry. This is a misunderstanding. This is not the promotion for a Wiki page. The Wiki is just the web platform. Netznetz is a huge community of net artists, hackers, artists here in Vienna/Austria. I would say one of the most ambitious and innovative movements in Austria net art in last decade. [grenz] Grenz
  • Abstain. I'm posting here because Netznetz gets 6,000 hits on Google, which means it's at least somewhat popular. However, I'm not sure how much of an impact this site would have to an English-speaking population, since most of the sites that Google hits are not linked to in English. Yes, it may be notable, but I'm not sure if this is the best place to talk about it. [[User:Mo0|Mo0[talk]]] 19:18, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep It does sound big enough to be worth an entry. As for the language issue, we also have articles on, say, German-language newspapers and Japanese movies. - DavidWBrooks 19:29, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • delete misuse of wikipedia. topic not suited for an encyclopedia. 213.235.226.239 08:18, 5 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep Socio-cultural movements like Free Software Foundation, Creative Commons or Indymedia are listed in Wikipedia too. As netznetz seems to be such a process which brings out new forms of co-laboration, i'll think it's worth to be listed in Wikipedia. Especially because Wikipedia is to get information of such upcoming, cutting edge processes. If I want to look for things which are well known and somehow settled i'll be served excellent with my old brookhaus. So why don't keep Netznetz. [ThTh]
  • Keep NetzNetz offers a pretty interesting overwiew of Austrian (artist-)initiativs on the web and their work in real-life. It is not simply a wiki. Nuss 21:51, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, though I'd like to see some expansion to the article. Sounds like an interesting group. Inky 21:05, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep Whenever i discuss the issue what is happening in Vienna and what discussions are going on here with non german speaking people they ask for english links. so it would be great if wikipedia keeps this article. netznetz is an open and democratic forum to discuss and network. as it is a process rather than a club this entry will show the changes of the vienna/austrian internet/alternative culture community. • Keep Mainstream media like the Austrian TV company ORF have reported on netznetz. This group seems to be significant enough to be mentioned in the German Wikipedia at least. There is no entry there. Should it be translated and transferred? But IMO the English version of this site can be useful for those who live in, or have an interest in Vienna and don't speak very good German. Klafubra 16:36, 5 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, important new development in net culture in Austria. [Stabilo] 17:17, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Seems to be notable. Gwalla | Talk 02:44, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
