Surely the Italian region should have the main page as the well known origin of the term, and link the rest via Piedmont (disambiguation)? --Shallot 23:41, 18 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Another Piedmont[edit]

From the Great Rift Valley article:

"The Rift Valley in East Africa has been a rich source of fossils[1] that allow study of human evolution, especially in an area known as Piedmont."
