Now, see, I'm glad to see this one, because it illustrates an important principle: calling something fancruft and VfDing it does not mean you don't like or are somehow prejudiced against the source material. Holy crap, I think Strong Bad is even cooler than Senor Cardgage; but devoting a whole article to a single joke in the Strong Bad E-mails is just too much detail for a general-interest encyclopedia. *mhh-merh-mhh-merh-mhhh!* Oh, yes, and the Cheat thinks so too. -- Antaeus Feldspar 23:38, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • BAHLETED! = Very yes. -- WOT 23:47, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Strong merge into Strong Bad. I don't agree that this is "just too much detail for a general-interest encyclopedia". And despite having tired of homestar runner 3 years ago, I still think that this kind of "fancruft" can be excellent in an article about fiction. Strong Bad is the staple of the H*R site, and this stuff can go a long way towards showing more about his character, and the design that goes into the site itself. It may have to be cleaned up and explained a little better, and even generalized so that this phrase is just mentioned, but I don't agree with this black/white fancruft idea that there is a level of "too much detail". siroχo 23:58, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)
    • I'm not sure where you're reading the "black/white" into it. Are there grey areas? Certainly there are. Are there cases where it's hard to decide what's an adequate level of detail and what's excessive level of detail? Certainly there are. However, I don't think this is one of them. -- Antaeus Feldspar 01:47, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
      • I just reject the notion that this article must be deleted or kept. Certianly there is content in it that should be kept, but not at its current title, and instead at Strong Bad. I agree that this article should not exist, but I think the information is certainly nowhere near a small enough level of detail to actively exclude it from Wikipedia. siroχo 04:25, Nov 17, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. The information could be merged into Strong Bad for all I care, but clearly the joke does not merit its own article. [[User:Livajo|力伟|]] 00:02, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Merge into Strong Bad, or delete if that's not applicable. PMC 00:36, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: This has been here before, folks. Either the "merge everything" folks prevailed, and the merge never happened, or it has been recreated. At any rate, this is not the Bennet Cerf library. Geogre 00:41, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

DELTETED. non-notable Bart133 00:46, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete with extreme burnination. Lord Bob 01:31, Nov 17, 2004 (UTC)
  • Asplode was previously listed. The Homestar Runner Wiki doesn't even think this should have its own article, and they have separate articles on most of the one-off jokes. DEL TACO? -- Cyrius| 02:34, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Ah, thanks. I knew I had eaten that meal before, and it didn't look any better the second time. Geogre 05:29, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • The Cheated. Uh, I mean Bubs. Oh, you know what I mean. Ian Pugh 06:20, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Now I HATE strongbad. I HATE it. Hate it, I tell you. But this information will be well at home in the Strongbad article. Don't delete, merge with Strongbad. Wyllium 07:35, 2004 Nov 17 (UTC)
  • I've merged into Strong Bad, crediting both authors in the edit summary. Title is sufficiently hyper-granular and search-unlikely to delete. Samaritan 08:11, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Del Taco?' Merge, redirect. Strong Bad and or Homestarrunner are fine, and maybe even StrongBad's Games, but one reference in one game is'nt worthy.
  • Redirect or Delete. I even wikyfied the damn thing, knowing it wasn't worth it. - Lifefeed 18:03, Nov 17, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Fancruft. --Improv 18:08, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Baleeted! ... Delteeted. ...Del-Taco? I know how you feel, Antaeus. I myself nominated the Ten-step footrace (from SB's 100th e-mail) for baleetion. This stuff belongs on the Homestar Wiki. Fishal 06:58, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
