Solly's[edit]

Some store selling stuff. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk)]] 03:36, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)

  • Shit Shop? Australasia? It almost sounds like speedy material to me. Mike H 03:37, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
  • I'm leaning on a delete right now. —[[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 05:35, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. These stores are now part of New Zealand's Warehouse chain. The only interest now would be historical. GeorgeStepanek 06:49, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Are we not interested in things of historical interest then? We probably best get deleting most of our articles.... Pcb21| Pete 14:05, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: History yes. Faded stores, no. Geogre 15:43, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Silly Solly's should get shit canned. DCEdwards1966 18:07, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete unless someone can show that it's a significant pop-cultural phenomenon. Is it a familiar by-word? Are there large numbers of Australian novels and films in which characters make reference to Silly Solly's? Is it mentioned in Parliamentary speeches? Anything like that? • Delete. This sounds like a load of bullsolly, and it's barely a substub.
