This sentence doesn't make much sense.

He has faced capital drug charges and called on the Federal Government to seek a pardon.

Who faced the charges? And who and why's he seeking a pardon? -- Longhair | Talk 07:34, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

dunno; you might ask FayssalF who added it. — Davenbelle 07:42, May 25, 2005 (UTC)

Islam[edit]

Why is the word Muslim written in the first sentence?--Greasysteve13 07:56, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

negative slant[edit]

This article seems pretty negative overall. For a notable person, there's scant description of any of his achievements. The guy's a businessman, apparently, so does that make him notable or not? If so, how come there is virtually no description of his business activities except for the details of his bankruptcies? There also seems like an unduly heavy emphasis on negative media coverage. Jodie Power[edit]

The last section "Jodie Power" consists entirely of the following sentence: "Mercedes Corby, sister of the convicted drug smuggler, has stated that Jodi Power, a family friend, boasted of having sex with Bakir". I looked at the article that it's based on and the article is not about that topic. In fact, the sentence is simply a cherry-picked throwaway line about a legal dispute between two people - neither of which is the person in question. This doesn't seem to qualify as an entire section for a notable person. I've deleted it.Callivert (talk) 07:14, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New interest in this article[edit]

Im going to get working on this article. It has come a long way since it's slanted/non-referenced/messy days, but still has a ways to go. Im working on it.--rocketrye12 talk/contribs 03:08, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My opinion: clean it up, get good references, make it neutral. But don't spend forever making it a sizeable masterpiece. There are far more notable topics on wikipedia that need quality attention. cheers --Merbabu (talk) 04:49, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
'twas my plan all along.--rocketrye12 talk/contribs 04:08, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
