Manuel Garcia Hernandez died on 13 October 2023[edit]

Hello, I wanted to inform you about the death of Manuel Garcia Hernandez, I spoke with his daughter a few hours ago and she told me that he had died on 13 October 2023. 2806:101E:A:8B9C:5DF6:5430:61EF:7DF1 (talk) 01:18, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hearsay is insufficient. Must have a reliable source that is accessible to other editors, confirming that he has died. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 01:26, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Facebook is not a reliable source. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 02:09, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes it is. 2806:101E:A:8B9C:5DF6:5430:61EF:7DF1 (talk) 02:50, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Facebook is a reliable source. Manuel Uribe Gar (talk) 01:34, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Facebook is generally not considered a reliable source on English Wikipedia because it is user generated content. As per WP:FACEBOOK, there is only one instance in which Facebook can be considered As a reliable source: Nota bene* Sometimes. The official page of a subject may be used as a self-published, primary source, but only if it can be authenticated as belonging to the subject. Peaceray (talk) 21:17, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Samwei Mburia[edit]

Should this article mention Samwei Mburia, a Kenyan man who claims to have been born in 1906? If he really was born in this year, he would be older than Maria Branyas. In 2023, he received a medal from King Charles the Third for military service, so may merit his own Wikipedia article. YTKJ (talk) 22:23, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
