Redirect[edit]

Why in the world does this article redirect to Cosmic Era Mobile Units? (Actually, it's not impossible that there is some MS named that... I would rather have seen a page on some legendary sword :/)

  • Agreed. This should be a disambiguation page, "Murasame" is used as the name of a sword in many Japanese RPGs, is it not? Not unlike Masamune.--Lord Shitzu 02:34, Jun 7, 2005 (UTC)
On ja.wp, this is disambiguation page (ja:村雨) including the name of rain, swords, naval vessels, Gundam-related things, etc. And the page says that the sword is a fictitious one, originally from a Japanese novel The Biographies of Eight Dogs (ja:南総里見八犬伝). // There was another sword (and sword smith) with similar name, Muramasa (ja:村正) and the article says they are real ones. - Marsian / talk 9 July 2005 05:02 (UTC)

I removed the comment about Muramase being Auron's sword in FFX, as it implied that was the only instance. Muramase is in at least 4 Final Fantasy games, probably nearly all of them. I also removed the line about Masamune from ff7, I don't understand why it's relevant. If somebody is willing to list all of the instances Muramase appears in Final Fantasy games (or even all video games) it might make a decent article to link from this disambiguation.
