X-Men/Personal Attacks Dispute[edit]

I doubt politeness with solve this dispute, but, yeah, you're right. Sorry.

Ruben Gomez[edit]

Stormie You're the "MAN", thank you very much. That merge is beyond great. I really am thankful. I hope that you don't mind if I consider you a "friend". User:Marine 69-71

Horizons vandalism[edit]

Stormie, please take a look at "your" vote on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Votes_for_deletion/Horizons:_Empire_of_Istaria and see if that is how you wanted it to look. It begins with keep and ends with delete, and then there is some odd stuff in there. Geogre 17:12, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Revert removal of content (Horizons)[edit]

I noticed you reverted the removal of content. I did not like it either but I did the waiting game instead, I mainly do factual checking and point of view enforcement and I didn't spot anything major. What I wanted to ask you was on what grounds did you decide to revert? --Marco 21:22, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)

What?[edit]

Excuse me? What exactly did I vandalize?

Stormie, Can You figure This Out?[edit]

How you doing buddy? How's things downunder? O.K., here's the problem, I wrote an article about "Juan "Chi-Chi" Rodriguez". When I checked the "Category:Puerto Rican sportspeople" within the article, I saw that somehow my article appeared as if I had wriiten two identical articles, one as "Juan%22Chi-Chi%22Rodriguez" and the other one with the correct title "Juan "Chi-Chi" Rodriguez". User:Hajor couldn't figure it out. Could you help me by eliminating the first title? Thanks. User:Marine 69-71

Deleting user subpages[edit]

There's a vote in progress at Wikipedia talk:Deletion of user subpages. Please consider voting. I have also requested that the proposal be frozen for the period of the vote, but this has met with opposition. Your participation in the process would be greatly appreciated. Andrewa 10:20, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Support[edit]

Thank you very much for your support during my recent run for adminship. The vote was very much appreciated. I see you have a LiveJournal! You should add me: mine is muddledslate. When I am done tonight, I will add you. Mike H 03:34, Sep 7, 2004 (UTC)

Yes, 64 votes is the record on en at this moment. My record on RFA was (64/2/1), topping Snowspinner's (62/9/3). Mike H 08:09, Sep 7, 2004 (UTC)

Rollback[edit]

I was sent to like two or three sex pop-up windows (one of them was orange and had this woman thrusting her pelvis toward the camera, fingering herself) and then all this spyware popped up. My virus definition software caught three of the viruses that latched themselves but not two others.

I thought, oh, then maybe this is just me. The user does something else stupid, and I go to rollback and I get the exact same thing. I had reverted one of his edits successfully before this happened. I go to chat and no one listens to me, and one person even has the gall to call me a LIAR. That's it. This is pissing me off. Shit like this makes me want to leave. Mike H 04:44, Sep 10, 2004 (UTC)

I was hysterical (and still am), and I was asking for help, and no one would give it to me. I did not like being called a liar. I know what the fuck happened to my computer and what caused it. If this is the shit I'm going to get by being here, I'm going to leave. Mike H 04:52, Sep 10, 2004 (UTC)
It's very funny that this happened right at THIS moment with THIS problem user. Somehow I don't think it's just a coincidence. Mike H 04:59, Sep 10, 2004 (UTC)

General Mayhem[edit]

Why was General Mayhem deleted? You said something about vfd talk page, but there is no Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/General Mayhem, so when was it on VfD, and where is the conversation? siroχo 06:33, Sep 10, 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing that out to me, just keeping track, since I've been tracking their vandalism atm. Didn't want the vandalism to get in the way of what seemed like an ok article (: siroχo 06:40, Sep 10, 2004 (UTC)
Speedy deleting it would not be appropriate unless they recreated the exact (or very nearly) same content on the new page name. I'd say let them finish, and then send it to cleanup. -- Netoholic @ 07:00, 10 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Sorry.[edit]

I found this sufficiently urgent enough to warrant a response on your talk page. See my LJ and the last comment you responded to. Mike H 15:00, Sep 11, 2004 (UTC)

Births/deaths[edit]

Hi, you may want to have a look at Wikipedia:People by year and the related discussion on categories for deletion. -- User:Docu

National Ricoh[edit]

Yes, you are probably right. I found it mentioned on an FAQ posted recently from someone who sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

I haven't found much more data to go with it. I thought this might be because Ricoh is the sponsor's name and I haven't had a chance to search under 'State of the union'.

The Aussie Union site has nothing on it which is odd. If it is a cup that is no longer competed for then the article is probably best deleted with Australia shield as you suggested being moved to its own page.

As I'm a NH type not a SH type my knowledge of Aussie rugby outside the national team and S12 is limited.

Edit: I've had a quick search and found this http://www.thefooty.com/artman/publish/article_822.shtml which states that the Ricoh championship is still competed for but I think it may now be part of the S12 in the same way that the Bledisloe Cup is now part of 3N. In which case a paragraph in the S12 article might be more appropriate (unless the Ricoh predates the S12 which would mean that it might warrant an article in itself).

How You Doing Stormie[edit]

Hey Strormie, how are you? I want you to do me a favor. IP 198.81.26.11 is vandalizing with continous revert-edits the article Modesto Cartagena. Another User has tired to keep him from doing this, but to no avail. Please, "ban" this IP user from vandalizing this article or if you can, protect the article from vandalisum (I don't know the policy about protection). Thank You Buddy. User:Marine 69-71

Hi Stormie, I just got home from a family reunion. We were watching the Boxing match between Hopkins and De La Hoya. Thanks for looking into the "Modesto" case. User:Marine 69-71

Events and Lore - replace fansite link with official site, more up to date link[edit]

Just a bit of trivia, the link you replaced with the official product page is the official community page announced two days ago. But as they link to the same information either link will do.

I checked and your link is more up to date, so it stays. --Marco 11:15, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Stormie Check This Out[edit]

I strongley recommended that User:198.81.26.17 be banned. He or she now vandalized my "Talk Page". Check out that person's User page and you'll see that the only thing that person is doing is vandalizing. I know that you're like me and that we want wikipdedia to be a serious educational tool but, something has got to be done about the jokers and clowns that want to destroy what we've done. Your Friend User:Marine 69-71

Thanks, you're right. Maybe by blocking him, other users will be affected, including me (It's happened before). Till next time. User:Marine 69-71

Image Copyright 'toilers'[edit]

Nowhere does it say that one MUST place any license on an uploaded image. I took the image in question and license it under whatever Wikipedia cares to license itself under, which I affirmed with the click of the 'I affirm....' checkbox on upload. Interesting that a Sydneysider from Macquarie University of all places would be the one to spot my new image and send me a note, me living in Qingdao and all, but ... I don't think such messages are necessary. If they are, then the upload file page's text needs changing. - prat 00:35, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I was living in Shanghai until about 6 months ago!  :) prat 05:25, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Random pages -- done[edit]

Hi, I've added 103 random pages (because 3 in the original 100 were red links!) — have fun! — Matt 09:23, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Want to join? I'm still formulating policy. Besides which, you live in Newtown - you could contribute to the suburbs page! And you go to Macquarie Uni... maybe something on this :-) Interested? Incidently, there is a message board Wikipedia:Australian wikipedians' notice board - Ta bu shi da yu 06:09, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Excellent! Feel free to alter it :) - Ta bu shi da yu 06:36, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know :) I was doing the whole thing via c&p so I was probably bound to make a mistake somewhere. Dysprosia 05:20, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Just to let you know I've moved the information out of the All Blacks article and into the aforementioned ... now to work on it! porge 08:17, Sep 30, 2004 (UTC)
