Inproper merge[edit]

I think the merge was done improperly. Relevant information from Ball-closure ring including a better picture was lost. See below:

I've merged the Talk: Captive bead into Captive bead.

I also don't see any discussion of the removal/placement process, or the tools required. I was looking for such information, but this article seems to indicate that the ball just slides in by hand. Of course, that wouldn't make sense, and in fact you need special tools to place or remove the ball--unless I'm mistaken.130.85.102.101 15:17, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've never seen one that needs tools. Mine didn't. User:Pedant 10:54, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

article title[edit]

My apologies if this has already been discussed, but why is the title of this article Captive bead, when it starts off with "captive bead ring"? Also, I've never heard of it referred to as "captive bead". Just a suggestion. riana_dzastatce • 11:12, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think this article should be at Captive bead ring, why was this moved from there?

Image[edit]

The previous image requires a photo credit almost as big as the caption, and it amounts to an advertisement in my opinion. Sorry I never noticed that the 'pd' tag on my old image had become obsolete... however a quick check of the Image page would clear it up, since I said it was made by me and released to public domain for unlimited use. Any way I replaced the image that needed a credit with one that doesn't, and put the text from the image in the caption. Hope that meets with everyone's approval.
