Untitled[edit]

Does anyone have the original source for this document? It appears to have been translated from French, but its syntax is more franglish then french. If provided the original text, I would be more then happy to clean up the document.

Où est la source originale pour ce document? Il semble être traduit du Français. mais ce n'est pas de bon français. Si quelqu'un m'envoye le document original, Je serais heureux de le traduire propre.

It looks to me like this is a translation of the French Wikipedia article and just needs to be peer edited and polished up a bit. -- Frenchgeek 21:02, Mar 18, 2005 (UTC) -- Taking a closer look at this article, parts of it look as thought it was machine translated.

I came in and found this article hacked yesterday. I hope it has been fixed now.

Why did Paris lose?[edit]

Paris was the favourite all the way through. Could someone elaborate in the article the reason's for Paris's loss? - Hahnchen 01:37, 2 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I thought that would have been obvious:- the french are rubbish. Chalk it up on the list: Agincourt, Trafalger, The Nile, Waterloo, Crecy......

Don't forget it was the Paralympic games too. I went to Paris in October 2004 with my nan who as in a wheelchair. I'm wondering it is to do with Paris' awful accessibility for the disabled. Mojo 16:00, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 00:31, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Paris bid for the 2012 Summer Olympics/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

*This article needs refs and needs to be lengthened significantly. More details of Paris's bid file, opinions of the bid, and information on the IOC evaluation are in order. Jaredtalk  01:45, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
