P.S. You're not really supposed to write about yourself unless you're encyclopedically notable; even then, it's best to not contribute to an article about yourself. I've nominated the article about you for deletion, but no hard feelings.

Deletion Policy[edit]

Hey, I'm the person who nominated your original article for deletion. As Meelar said, I'm not doing it because of you, it's simply Wikipedia policy.

Please don't "blank" pages that are up for deletion. I realise that you realised your mistake, however blanking it doesn't do any good.

Hope you understand.

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to your user page (User:Jamesmgregg), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy).

Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. If you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues here or on my user talk page. You may remove the deletion notice, and the page will not be deleted for the moment, but note that it may still be sent to Miscellany for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.
