The Scottish Trades Union Congress is the Scottish branch of the United Kingdom wide Trades Union Congress. -- when my union held its conference in Perth in 1993 we were addressd by the STUC General Secretary who made it very clear that the STUC is a totally separate organisation from the TUC. -- Arwel 19:25, 7 Nov 2003 (UTC)
