I would like to revive this project. I noticed that you've added yourself to the list of available Spanish-to-English translators. Are you interested in working on Spanish Translation of the Week? — J3ff 06:25, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Reference or specific knowledge of Ignacio Zuloaga?[edit]

Hi.
I posted something about this on the talk page for the article but then realized you may not be watching it and might never see the comments there. In recent edits to the Ignacio Zuloaga article, you changed what someone else had termed "young life" to "childhood". The source text this sentence was translated from used años juveniles which could also include adolescence. I was curious to know if you had better references available than those that have been accessed so far? Otherwise I was considering changing that text simply to "youth" as it doesn't unnecessarily risk being too specific. -regards,  EN1-UTE- (Talk) 15:55, 12 April 2024 UTC [refresh] </nowiki> -->Onceler (Talk) (Mail)   22:45, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • You are right, childhood is not appropriate in this case. I was looking through the article looking for translation errors and thought that "childhood" sounded betted than "young life". As I have just posted on the talk page, "youth" or "early years" are better alternatives. Kraenar 10:25, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
