From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

List of Weebl and Bob cartoons was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was no consensus, so keep. This is a list of episodes from a internet cartooon website known as Weebl and Bob. While the website itself is probably famous enough for an article, this list is not. As pointed out in the talk page, it is redundant with http://www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/archives.php, which is much more useful. Norman Rogers 10:33, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. There are lists for other cartoons, just because this is an internet cartoon doesn't make it less notable, indeed, I feel it is more notable because it's unique nature. Darksun 11:47, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Weebl and Bob (the only relevant incoming link) externally links to links to http://www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/archives.php as well as List of Weebl and Bob cartoons. In maintaining this page, someone is visiting the external link and copying the information into the list. Admittedly, the Description column adds something new to the external content, but very few of them are more than an expansion on the title. --PRB 16:53, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. This is superfluous even if the actual cartoon MAY deserve its own page. Indrian 16:57, Oct 26, 2004 (UTC)
  • Admittedly, I enjoy Weeble & Co. sometimes, but as they already have a list of the cartoons on their website that is very easy to find, delete. Fire Star 01:14, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. I see no harm in keeping this article. If you do not like Weebl and Bob then I suggest you not search for this article, if you are a fan then this article can be around for you. --ShaunMacPherson 20:36, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Not encyclopedic. --Improv 19:14, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Weak keep because I don't see what is gained by deleting it. It would be more useful if there was a link to each episode, seeing as how they are all published on the web. This is not the same as the list on the official archives page, because someone spent the time to write a summary of each episode here. ~leifHELO 19:51, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, but adding links to each of the episodes would make this article more useful. Mo0 19:52, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, lists related to encyclopedic topics are encyclopedic siroχo 04:17, Oct 29, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. A stupid list about a stupid topic. The very quintessence of fancruft: WTF wants to know what episode 27 was about? Wile E. Heresiarch 05:46, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, or merge and redirect with the main article - David Gerard 12:37, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, what's the harm in keeping it? [[User:Dmn|Dmn / Դմն ]] 12:56, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
