Use-cases[edit]

"Left side indicates the use-cases allowed, right side the license components".

However, the article does not define what such use-cases are. JMGN (talk) 19:11, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Since version 4.0, derivative works are allowed but must not be shared[edit]

This seems to be contradictory to be the opposite of what is officialy stated

Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially. JMGN (talk) 20:06, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That statement is for the 'ND' versions of the licence, but you've linked to the more permissive CC-BY-4.0. Specifically, all ND versions of the licence restrict the creation and distribution of derivatives, but CC-ND-4.0 et al permit derivatives for personal use so long as they are not distributed.
