merger with Rockies?[edit]

I don't think a merger is appropriate. You wouldn't merge it with the New Jersey Devils, right? Two different franchises = two different pages. 15:43, 9 November 2005 (UTC)~

I agree with the above. The Scouts had their own identity, as should the Colorado Rockies (NHL). In addition, keeping the articles separate would provide better service for surfers who are looking for information about this particular team, but only know that Kansas City once had an NHL team. I believe that the Seals, Barons, Nordiques, Whalers and Winnipeg Jets should not be merged with their respective successors for the same reason.

I also agree. It would not be appropriate to merge this with the Rockies page or the Devils page. Even though they were a short lived franchise, they deserve their own page.

Don't merge this page with the Rockies one.

  • Don't merge!
  • Ditto. The Scouts gave KC two years of lukewarm hockey in a lukewarm arena, with a lukewarm reception (they forgot to tap the lined pockets of Johnson Countians). The Rockies were a bit better. The Devils are anything but lackluster. You have three distinct teams out of the same organization. Keep the pages that way. --KHill-LTown 01:41, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please do not merge. RMc 02:16, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This looks like consensus. I will remove the tag. -- JamesTeterenko 21:00, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
