This article incorrectly attributes the founding of the Keimyung College to Edward Adams in 1899. This is the wrong Adams. The Rev. Edward (Ned) Adams was the Field Secretary for the American Presbyterian Mission during the Korean War, and he was instrumental in founding Keimyung Christian College in 1953-54.

In 1897 the Rev. James E. Adams (Edward's father) served as a missionary in the Taegu area and later founded the original Keisung Boys' Academy (1906). A Mrs. Bruen founded the original Sinmyung Girls Academy (1907). Keimyung is a hybrid of the two names.

But these were children's institutions. While it is said that the senior Adams dreamed of founding a college; that dream did not come to fruition until 1953-54 with the efforts of his son and other Presbyterian missionaries. ?? Jejungwon ??[edit]

The article correctly references the college website, giving an 1899 date for "Jejungwon". But Jejungwon is Chejungwon, which is Severance_Hospital in Seoul. Can anyone explain how Daegu Presbyterian Hospital takes it's history from Chejungwon? 1.159.58.220 (talk) 02:09, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
