The crash[edit]

The article claims that Beltoise was pushing his car across the track. Video evidence suggests otherwise:

I'm not saying that the article is wrong. Indeed, the claim has been repeated multiple times in other forums. But the video at least raises doubts. Flanker235 (talk) 13:01, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It had said "along the track" for a long time until January, when an IP changed it to "across". I have changed it back. If good evidence arises that Beltoise was pushing his car across the track then we can add it. But the video clearly shows that, at the time of impact, he was not doing that.
