I just made this into a disambiguation page because there's potentially more to be said about the term "conlang", which did not deserve to be redirected to the constructed language" article (or to "Conlang-L"). The combination of two uncoordinated previous edits had left a link to "conlang" in "constructed language"... which when clicked jumped to "constructed language" again, via a redirect. It'd be nice to have some more data about the word "conlang" itself, e.g. when it was first attested.

Okay. The previous version of the page was pretty much what's on the CONLANG-L article now, plus a note that it's usually synonymous with constructed language. However, all of the articles that linked to it did so with the meaning of "constructed language", so I moved it to Conlang-L, removed the note, and changed the redirect to Constructed language. I thought I'd removed the link from the constructed language article, but I must've forgotten or missed one or something. Having a disambiguation page is a better idea, thanks. - Gwalla 04:23, May 11, 2004 (UTC)
