Flash sync[edit]

Is it worth noting that twin lens cameras didn't need a slow (or any) flash sync speed? It would seem like one of its greatest advantages over older SLRs 66.57.225.77 02:30, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Weak writing -- but important information[edit]

The Mamiya C series TLRs had interchangeable lenses, allowing focal lengths from 55mm (wide angle) to 250mm (telephoto) to be used. The simple, sturdy construction of many TLRs means many have endured the years well. Many low-end cameras used cheap shutters however, and the slow speeds on these often stick or are inaccurate.

The Mamiya Cs still have interchangeable lenses -- because these cameras endure. The low-end cameras still have cheap shutters, as they have endured was well, though in drawers and closets. The slow speeds on low-end TLRs may be inaccurate, but saying they stick adds ambiguous meaning.

Interchageables lens on a TLR were introduced on the French Photorex Rex Reflex. As this camera is very rare, most people believe the Mamiya are the only interchangeable lens TLR. Ericd (talk)
