Orphaned references in Commensalism[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Commensalism's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Tong2015":

  • From Staphylococcus aureus: Tong SY; Davis JS; Eichenberger E; Holland TL; Fowler VG (July 2015). "Staphylococcus aureus infections: epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and management". Clinical Microbiology Reviews. 28 (3): 603–661. doi:10.1128/CMR.00134-14. PMC 4451395. PMID 26016486.
  • From Staphylococcus: Tong SY, Schaumburg F, Ellington MJ, Corander J, Pichon B, Leendertz F, Bentley SD, Parkhill J, Holt DC, Peters G, Giffard PM (2015) Novel staphylococcal species that form part of a Staphylococcus aureus-related complex: the non-pigmented Staphylococcus argenteus sp. nov. and the non-human primate-associated Staphylococcus schweitzeri sp. nov. Int J Syst Evol Microbiol. 65(Pt 1):15-22

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 23:45, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Definition[edit]

This article is based on the definition given in the lead, which is uncited. There are a number of differing definitions of what is Commensalism, it remains unclear why this one was chosen nor where it came from. William Harris • (talk) • 08:08, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Found in Sociobiology: The New Synthesis, lead now amended. William Harris • (talk) • 11:51, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Shrews[edit]

Asian house shrews stink up the rooms of the houses it occupies, making them barely habitable. Thus violating the definition.

Overview of Symbiosis[edit]

In the dutch Wikipedia on this topic there is an overview of the different types of symbiosis; which might help understanding how this related to other types. I'm not an expert on this topic; but as a beginner, it is nice to get the overview to put this page in context... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.255.175.52 (talk) 09:57, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
