Mentevale[edit]

I noticed this entry among the articles that needed urgent translation. I have read this article, it refers to a hypothetical white-collar variation of "manovale", the Italian word for "laborer". To my knowledge, and that of Garzanti's & other dictionaries, this word does not exist. The definition looks like a neologism from a blog which this article advertises and whose link is also broken. The bpttom half of the article contains comments which seem to be taken from that blog but i could find no confirmation for that either. It sounds like a strong political protest against Italian state employees and their poor working conditions. As such, i do not think it belongs here or to any Wikis at all and i think it should be deleted.

For what it's worth, here are the comments from Wikipedia:Pages needing translation into English:

  • Looks like Italian. A Google translation suggests that its a dictdef and/or nonsense; could someone confirm? [[User:David Johnson|David Johnson [T|C]]] 16:36, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Looks like its about an Italian-language neologism; I didn't spend a lot of time on it, but the second half looks comic. Probably Italian Wiktionary, at best. -- Jmabel | Talk 22:02, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)
