Was May 6 the date on which Louis moved into the new palace? The way it is written now makes it sound like the whole thing was built in a day. When was construction begun? - Molinari 08:49 13 Jul 2003 (UTC)

According to Palace of Versailles it was built over a long period of time dating back to 1624, so presumably that's the date he moved his court there. Changing to reflect this. --Delirium 08:51 13 Jul 2003 (UTC)
