Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PHPEdit

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This might very well be a worthwhile piece of software - and there is certainly no POV problem now. However the entire article still looks like it has come straight from someone's promotional material. Zaphod Beeblebrox 06:29, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Golly, both vfd and disputed neutrality for such a simple little article. As it currently stands, everything here appears neutral and factual. Could use a better description, so send to pages needing help if we must, but keep. Jgm 06:36, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. It can be improved, but we've to keep in mind that PHPEdit is a commercial software and it should not be 'advertised'. utcursch, 16 Aug 2004
  • Send to cleanup: If this software is so notable that a general researcher needs to look it up in an encyclopedia, and I have no idea whether or not it is, then it still needs to be cleaned up. Yes, it is not just factual. The fact that the article is a feature list is promotional. Geogre 13:02, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • Delete: I prefer to defer when it comes to software I don't get near. In this case, I defer to Cyrius's opinion. Geogre 17:53, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • This is an advertisment and nothing more. And orphaned at that. And the German Wikipedia version's up for deletion as well. Delete. -- Cyrius| 01:45, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • But, have a look at Microsoft_Word, isn't it the same? Why don't delete that? Maybe someone should improve the PHPEdit article -- 213.54.214.33 10:51, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • I'm sorry that you don't seem to be able to tell the difference between an actual article and a feature list. -- Cyrius| 17:06, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
      • You're welcome to make it a real article anytime -- 213.54.204.154 14:29, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. --Dittaeva 11:42, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
