Is this a request to use this other template? I'm not sure we need it, for example it's not used over at Deutsche Bahn. Mu2 20:48, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Improving this article, and the ÖBB on wikipedia in general[edit]

This article is in rather poor shape alas, along with most aspects of rail in Austria - we need to bribe the Deutsche Bahn contributors to jump trains for a bit! I'll try and improve it, and also add a new ÖBB category like the DB one to link up to the various other aspects of the network. Mu2 19:14, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've made a nice category box for Austrian Railways, I hope you like and it encourages others to contribute! Mu2 20:24, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image substitution[edit]

I am planning on substituting the current image of the OEBB 1016 electric locomotive with this images, which I think gives a better perspective and better understanding of how this locomotive looks like. Any comments before I do the change please? Thanks.

1460 (27-6-2019)[edit]

If there is something sensible to say about the Austrian railways in 1460 (as of 27-6-2019), it should be (with references) not only in the introduction, but also as first item under History. It may allude to the Reisszug but the Reisszug would make sense only in the history of railways in Austria and in the world. Being a private railway at that time, it is not the beginning of the federal railway. The claim that the same BÖB logo was used since 1460 makes clear to me that the whole thing is a joke. I take the responsibility to revert these contributions. --Dominique Meeùs (talk) 21:23, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
