Hello. In infinite monkey theorem, as the next person who edited it after you pointed out, almost surely is a technical term with a precise definition, and you should think about that carefully before deciding it's not the right term. And in fact it is the right term in this case; it's a standard idea in probability theory. Michael Hardy 02:06, 24 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Thank you for the comment on my talk page. And thank you for your excellent addtions and help. Qaz 05:25, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

RIFE[edit]

Hi Pengo, thanks for the note on Talk:RIFE. The article has been deleted after a copyvio listing. You noted that the original poster was the copyright holder (and therefore it was a GFDL release). I'd like to hear from the copyright holder, not second hand, that they were the original poster or release the material under the GFDL. Until that time, or until the article is re-written without copying, it will stay deleted. --Duk 17:08, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Hearing impairment[edit]

Hi, Pengo, have gone through this article and copy-edited as much as I could and have linked some keywords. Existing content has now been edited, no doubt further detail and content will be added by future editors. Have also entered stub notice in Pre-lingual deafness article, as it looks a bit thin at the moment. On reflection, I think you are right to keep both "Pre-lingual deafness" and "Post-lingual hearing impairment" separate from "Hearing impairment". "Pre-", however needs a lot more work — there are quite a lot of websites out there that might help —, "post-" seems to be doing quite well. Dieter Simon 23:28, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Prelingual deafness[edit]

Appreciated, Pengo, as you say, some of them are "touchy" subjects. Sorry, put this reply into your User page in error. Dieter Simon 22:52, 27 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

User language boxes for sign language[edit]

Hello :)

I just created user language boxes for sign language, similar to the ones that exist for spoken languages. You may like to have a look. Any feedback is of course welcome!

Cheers, ntennis 09:12, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Pengo! I just want you to know I put up your Wikibureaucracy article up for deletion, but I mean no hard feelings towards you. We all get frustrated sometimes, but let's try not to disrupt WP to make a point. Maybe it's time to read over m:Wikistress. Anyway, keep making good edits, and don't let the process get you down too much! -Satori 00:37, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Obesity[edit]

If you delete a large chunk of an article, for whatever reason, can you please at least move that chunk to the talk page and copy your reason there. Thanks. —Pengo 16:04, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No, I will not. This "large chunk" was added to push a POV, and everyone has access to watchlist and page history functions. It was never my intention to create a discussion, and hence moving it to the talk page would have been of no benefit. JFW | T@lk 16:08, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hacker[edit]

Good edits to split up the Hacker article. It's a sticky situation and I don't think we'll ever please everyone. I was skeptical of your proposal to split the article but it looks good so far! --ElKevbo 05:50, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Newbie advice[edit]
