In terms of formative moments: that Phylis Wheatley.. she's pretty much a third of my mix when it comes to talking about race shit. ---------------------- If you have more color in your skin than I do, please announce your tendencies openly before approaching me. Who the fuck is raising these kids these days? Where's the Wiki Teacher community, and where are their studects? Fuck the thing you're thinking of that might be a problem. Get with the program. ---------------------- I used to go in and hang around Phyllis Wheatley's middle school sometimes when we had half-days at my school. It is a fun to get lost where no one looks like you. It is a fun thing that Trust breeds Trustworthiness; huge regardless where applied. My suburban school was pretty near you. We had some mafia, but not much. We had some zoo, kinda. We had some meth, but not too much. We had some kid(s) that took Saran Wrap, wrapped it around their dick(s), and held it in place with elastics in failed attempts to not impregnate. I used to buy condoms for kids that were too embarrassed to. Have you ever scoffed at someone who ended a sentence with a preposition? Why? I get it but still I don't. I've never understood why the fuck someone who didn't want to spend the rest of their life paying child support or caring for a baby conceived before it was time would give a flying fuck a even a single rolling donut about whether the pharmacist or cashier knew they were fucking. --- I've had people talk to me about "that nigger gene," but that shit don't work on me. I just laf. Because it give them a hint not to step in my path. But I always wish them racist fuckers well. The fact that I do so and will do so will, for pretty much eternity, be a liability for me. But they mean well, so why not? --- It is very difficult to try to be everyone's friend, but fuck it. I'll give it a try. --- Anyhoo, this is my tolken question for this discussion's page: When this article says 'she was examined,' what scene does it paint for you? For me,, I can't help but to picture a bunch of well-meaning and well-to-do northern liberals man-handling the poor chyck like she was a piece of fucking chattle. ..Though not so much that she felt discouraged from speaking her truth, from speaking what she sees. I can almost hear them exclaiming to each other about how the livestock just spouted something that really hit the nail on the head. --- I think the ability to commoditize the object of their compassion speaks both well and poorly of those that try to do the right thing. I think it just kinda works like that. --- Can't tell if I've hit my nail yet, so I'll summarize: 1 - {removed: Miscelleneous Irrelavant Tripe.} 2 - Take a stick of butter and use it to cook off a pound of bacon. Remove the bacon when it's just ripe, and then cook off some steak tips. Now that's good shit. --- { In closing: wink;). And fuck yourself. I won't mind spouting off randomly about slightly heavy shit; I'll do it for the next fifty or so years or so in and around these here parts; but don't expect me to give too much creedence to your process or your passing sensibilities. You'll notice my aim is mostly judged true by this wiki wiki community. For me,, I can't help but to picture a bunch of well-meaning northern liberals man-handling the poor girl like she was a piece of chattle, though not so much that she felt discouraged from speaking her truth, from speaking what she sees. I think the ability to commoditize the object of their compassion speaks both well and poorly of those that try to do the right thing.
