Image copyright problem with Image:Rhh.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rhh.jpeg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. nixie 03:18, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Physical traffic calming methods[edit]

Hello, I've removed your claimed benefit of autonomous cars that their introduction would cause the "Reduction or elimination of physical traffic calming methods." The main reason is because I have no idea what you're talking about. I am also not sure if you meant to say that autonomous cars would reduce or eliminate the need for these methods, rather than making these methods unviable. Finally, you didn't provide a reference. Since the reasoning behind this benefit is not obvious to the reader, it requires a reference. Owen214 (talk) 07:16, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of road junctions in the United Kingdom: 0-A, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eckington (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 01:56, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A page you started (Spaw Sunday) has been reviewed![edit]

Thanks for creating Spaw Sunday, Pmberry!

Wikipedia editor Ajpolino just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Interesting addition!

Hello Pmberry! Welcome to Wikipedia (though you are hardly a newbie any longer). Spaw Sunday looks great, and having references in it immediately makes it one of the better newly-created articles. If you get a chance, it would be hugely helpful if you could finish filling out the reference templates by adding the title of the article and the date/author where applicable. The group that published can be put in the |publisher= parameter. I have filled out the first reference as an example.
I also tagged the talk page with the banner of Wikipedia:WikiProject United Kingdom. This will help other editors with similar interests find the article and improve it with you.
Other than that, everything looks great! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me at my talk page. Happy editing! Ajpolino (talk) 03:25, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:Sheffield Parkway Nighttime.jpeg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused, unclear use/purpose

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
