The statement[edit]

Untitled[edit]

Jägare (Pekararii) is the Swedish (Finnish) name for people that dress up like mooses and hunt hunters.

seems impossible to interpret in a sensible way. I've never heard about pekari, pekarit or pekarii and it surely doesn't belong here! /Tuomas 11:26, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Compare this reversion of vandalism!
It required some amount of energy, due to these pages being moved arond a bit, but I tracked it down!

Overzealous redirection?[edit]

Hello,

I landed on this DAB page while looking for jaegers (the seabirds). I hunted and found the birds I was looking for under Arctic Skua. DAB pages have their uses but along the way, numerous articles about Jager/Jäger/Jaeger/Yeager/etc have been turned into redirects which direct to this DAB page. I'm not sure how many articles that fell victim to Redirect Rabies have no links to them (I haven't tried counting). In the meantime, I'm adding a link to Skua so my fellow North Americans can find the birds. Jaguara (talk) 18:43, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clutter?[edit]

There seem far too many terms here to make it easy to disambiguate the word. If there are no objections I'll move the military terms to a List of Jäger units; that'll move about 30 items. Moonraker12 (talk) 22:42, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That seems like a good idea, go ahead. -- Matthead  Discuß   23:03, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, done. Thanks! Moonraker12 (talk) 12:14, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
