But, what is it?[edit]

OK, so it apparantly was used in an archaic (1911) description of Scottish rocks. But, I have no clue what it is. A google search gives a couple hundred hits - the first 100 are to the wiki article, the list of rocks article or scores of mirrors & scams of wiki. No real definition or independent usage to be seen. Does anyone know what the term calcflinta was supposed to mean. Seems to have survived a deletion attempt earlier - why I don't know.
