I'm looking for the best picture or any informations about the KAF's U-6 (Beaver). It seem that the KAF had 3 aircrafts. Article contradiction with parent over bandmates intentions to license to Levi's; parent proposes that it was only an accusation levelled by Biafri, while this article presents it as fact.

Album Cover[edit]

Is the album cover actually from Cambodia or is it from Thailand? Or am I thinking of the Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death cover? Or am I thinking of something else? I remember reading something once that the photo is from the aftermath of a student uprising in Thailand in the 70's (or 80's?) maybe this one Ewlyahoocom 16:37, 16 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I realize this is quite old, but I too wondered about the art on this single, so I thought I'd post the information for anyone else who is curious. This photo is from the 6 October 1976 Massacre against student protests at Thammasat University in Thailand (as stated above). This particular photo was taken at Sanam Luang, where rightist crowds dragged several corpses and tied them to trees, where they then beat and mutilated them with metal chairs.

POV in article[edit]

We've been over this at the Dead Kennedys' article already: unless you can cite a source saying that the rich people in the song are left wing, don't add it in. For now, it remains at a neutral "upper class" without political leanings mentioned. -- LGagnon 05:52, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I get the impression from the song that it's not just about the upper class, it's about a larger number of Americans, especially college kids, who think they've got it hard but really don't compared to the situation in Cambodia. So I don't know if "upper class" would be the most accurate word to describe the subject either. -- Sly

Video[edit]

I'm going to remove the "HiC had a music video reference". The video referenced is a studio performance recorded at Target Studios, with Peligro on drums. Peligro didn't replace Ted until a while after HiC was released. Sepultura cover[edit]

I got to know the song from a cover by the Brazilian Thrash Metal Band Sepultura. It hasn't appeared on a studio album but I think it's on the numerous recordings made from a certain gig in Barcelona. Meaning[edit]

Although I can't source it (there is a website with numerous interpretations but they are by fans), I'm sure the song is a response to Hippies that think Communism is an answer to Capitalism and corporations, and the song is telling them to take a "holiday in Cambodia" to see what it's actually like over there.
