It's written here that Ray Charles died of kidney failure, but in the article on him the cause of death is liver disease. Somebody correct it.

This article needs to be locked.[edit]

It's full of incorrect information (notably, the "Tool will disband after their next album" under events). Way too many Michael edits.

Fix what you can, then; we can't protect an article on something like this just because of a few bad edits. Everyking 16:52, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Albums Released[edit]

Is this really necessary? The list is obviously far from complete; I think compiling a list of all of the albums released this year would be devilishly difficult to compile; it's just not worth it. Matthew McVickar 01:36, Oct 18, 2004 (UTC)

Because of the excessive size of the page, I've taken out albums where there is no article for either artist or title. It seems to me that these must be pretty obscure not to have acquired an article by now. Deb 18:04, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I've been going through every year since 1955, I notice there are a lot of duplications. Sometimes an album is listed three years running in Albums released which is totally ridiculous and unnecessary. Once is enough. Unless there is an article first for either a band/artist and album released editors should not add "empty" links to the list - the sea of "red ink" looks unprofessional and untidy. Consistency?[edit]

How does one decide what year an album gets listed? I ask because Snow Patrol's "Final Straw" is listed in the 2004 section when it was released in 2003 in the UK. Top Selling Albums[edit]

Where's American Idiot on the top selling list? It's sold over 6 million copies in America. And on the article for "Under My Skin" it claims the total album sales in America to be only 3 million.
